Betting Against The American Dream And Making Millions

This American Life is a weekly public radio show broadcast on more than 500 stations to about 1.7 million listeners. It is produced by Chicago Public Radio, distributed by Public Radio International, and has won all of the major broadcasting awards. It is also often the most popular podcast in the country, with more than a half million people downloading each week.

The broadcast this week presents a stark example of the question of what values real people applied -- or did not -- when big money was at stake.  For seven months a team of investigative journalists from ProPublica looked into a story for them, the inside story of one company that made hundreds of millions of dollars for itself while worsening the financial crisis for the rest of us. It includes an original Broadway song via Inside Job.

It is a must listen and enjoy the wonderful song.
