On Saturday, February 5, 2011, the Heritage O.P. Ensemble performed as part of the 2010/11 season of Conversations as Melodies, the monthly performance series presented by Intersections International. Heritage Organic Percussion (O.P.) is an acoustic percussion and vocal ensemble that fuses the rich cultural traditions and diaspora rhythms of Africa – from South America to the Caribbean – with African American tradition and modern musical trends.
