“Peace and Mutual Respect” – Thoughts of Rev. Robert Chase

Watch Intersections International Executive Director Bob Chase speak about Peace and Reconciliation among different religious communities. Chase took part in the recent first annual gathering of Odyssey Networks members held September 27 -- 30 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Odyssey Networks is the nation's largest multi-faith coalition dedicated to promoting tolerance, peace and social justice through the production and distribution of media. Odyssey's membership includes over 60 faith groups and organizations, including Intersections.

"One of the key forces in our society that has contributed to this dangerous level of rhetoric and vitriol has been the media," says Chase. "As a person who has been involved in the media for my whole career, I lament that about my colleagues in the media."
