Intersections Hosts A Global Leadership Conference In New York City

"Leadership Without Borders: Globalization And The Quest For Freedom" Conference Is Hosted At The Yale Club By Intersections International

NEW YORK, NY--Today Intersections is hosting a unique gathering of corporate, non-profit and faith leaders to address the urgent challenges to leadership at this historic point in time. Over 100 select leaders will explore how values-based leadership and leaders can act to foster a more sustainable world infused with greater freedom and compassion.

The gathering starts at 9:00 AM and will take place at The Yale Club of New York City. Speakers include Tachi Kiuchi, the former CEO of Mitsubishi Electric America, noted advocate for “living systems” approach to business and the Chairman of the Board of The Future 500, who arrived directly from Japan to share a first-hand report on how the tragedies in Japan are affecting the world economy; George Bickerstaff, former CFO of Novartis and co-founder of The Global Leaders, who will explore the implications of business and the non-profit sector's work to address world health issue; Heather Schultz, former CLO of Save the Children and current VP of Senn Delaney, who will share her thoughts on how inspired leaders can create thriving organizational cultures; Dr. Jacob Neddleman, author of The American Soul, who will speak on how religion and spirituality are woven into the fabric of the American Constitution’s core values and their lessons for social justice today; and the Rev. Robert Chase, founding director of Intersections International, who will speak on how the world economy benefits when power and creativity are used to champion social justice.
