Children’s Museum of Native Americans

The Nitchen Children’s Museum of Native Americans provides New York students an interactive educational experience. The museum, based in Washington Heights, hosts performers, presentations, and lectures about the indigenous people of America.

Intersections is engaged with the Museum’s Advisory Board of Native Americans to help redevelop current programming. New York City has the highest urban concentration of indigenous people in the United States and the museum offers a creative approach to presenting and understanding this important history. Intersections supports the museum’s efforts to enrich the educational experience and awaken new pathways of understanding through creative programming.
