About The Program

Featuring musicians, dancers and spoken-word artists from varying cultures and backgrounds, Conversations as Melodies is an informal and lively exchange between artists and audience, encouraging creative dialogue. Interactive in nature, these two-hour gatherings are hosted by Intersections’ Artistic Director Fred Johnson and are held on the first Saturday of the month at Intersections 274 5th Avenue office.

Intersections recognizes the power of creative expression and celebrates the unique ability that artists have in fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding among all people. Conversations as Melodies provides the medium through which artists can transform lives.
