Victoria Clarice Anderson

Native New Yorker, Victoria C. Anderson is a passionate social justice filmmaker with over a decade of experience in broadcast, film, multi-media, social and digital media, technical operations, entertainment and media management.

Her experience also encompasses work with groups of social justice advocates in a variety of settings including non-profit community organizations, a charter school, Riverside Church and the LGBT community. She has been actively involved with Maranatha, a ministry of Riverside Church committed to serving God by fostering greater understanding and promoting equity for LGBT members. At Riverside, she also serves as a lay leader on the Mission and Social Justice Commission and the Executive Board of the Young Adult Ministry.

In 2004, Anderson received a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies from Penn State University and a certification in Final Cut Pro Editing from New York University School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (NYU SCEPS) in 2008. She has completed several professional development courses including Storytelling, Sound and Color - Wesleyan University (Online); Final Cut Pro Editing Certification - NYU SCEPS; Life Stories Institute - Facilitator Certification - Theatre Lab, Washington, D.C.; Our Whole Lives: Faith and Sexuality - Facilitator Certification. In 2016, she received her AVID Media Composer Editing Certification and Masters of Fine Arts in Writing and Directing Documentary from The City College of New York.
